How to call a phone contact

If you’ve downloaded your phonebook, you can use simple voice commands to call any of your contacts by name.

Press the Voice button. SYNC™ will ask for a command.

Say: "Call ".

If there’s more than one number, SYNC™ will ask you to say which number.

e.g. Say: “Mobile, Home or Work”.

If there’s more than one number in a category, SYNC™ will ask you to say which number.

e.g. Say: “Line 2”.

To end your call, press and hold the red phone button on your steering wheel.

Remember to say your phone contact names exactly as they appear such as Cos, Mark; Mark C or Cos, M.

Say: “Dial”. SYNCTM will then ask for the number.

Say the number, eg: “123 456 789”.

Say numbers, digit by digit, e.g. 1-2-3.

Say: “Dial”.

To end your call, press and hold the red phone button on your steering wheel.

If you make a mistake, say:

“Delete” – to cancel the last number, OR

“Clear” – to delete all numbers and start again.
